BETH + DAVID WEDDING STORY:

Christ Church Cathedral + Loman Hall Farm ~ Lexington, Kentucky

The beautiful rolling hills and horse farms of Kentucky were drawing the Indianapolis-based entrepreneurs Beth and David back to Beth’s childhood home  for their wedding.   Beth’s grandmother welcomed the idea of hosting the wedding reception at the horse farm that had been in the family for generations.

Following a beautiful and solemn service at Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Lexington guests were transported to the rolling hills and horse farms of Kentucky.  Beth wanted to use the vibrant colors peony and clover to play off the lush rolling green hills of her native Kentucky home.  Mint julep cups filled with the bright blooms added a bold punch of color the tent.  As sunset came over the farm, a pink hue could be seen throughout the reception as lighting create a wonderful cast.  Family and friends loved seeing Beth and David’s photos included on all of the table numbers using their own company’s photos – Indy Photo Booth.  Naturally the guests enjoyed time in the Photo Booth during the reception as well. The menu was summery and fun to capitalize on the hot June night including a late night snack of sliders, pink strawberry milkshakes and fries.  Guests enjoyed watching the horses on the farm, and of course tall glasses of iced tea and good ol’ Kentucky bourbon.
