THE WEDDING STORY OF SAMEENA + GAUTAM:

Laurel Hall ~  Indianapolis, Indiana

Capturing the essence of their Indian culture while infusing the groom’s talent as an artist was important to Sameena and Gautam.  By using the entire mansion of Laurel Hall, the couple’s vision was reached for this beautiful and intricate spring wedding.

The rich tradition of the ceremony and flavors of Indian cuisine filled the historic mansion.  Guests enjoyed dining and dancing among a myriad of tapestries and colored fabrics and wraps all while surprised at every turn by the groom’s artwork lovingly created for the wedding celebration.  His modern pieces created a wonderful palette which complimented the red ceremony and bold pink reception on a beautiful spring evening.

Update! In December 2013 the Arts Council of Indianapolis announced a contest to honor local artists. Gautam’s art from the wedding, which was prominently displayed over the fireplace during dancing, will be commissioned as a billboard in 2014 to be enjoyed by the Circle City.
