Zoe and Chasten’s Indianapolis Wedding Takes The Checkered Flag

Bride and groom at the Indianapolis ArtsGarden Wedding Reception

Working with Zoe, Chasten, and their families on their Indianapolis wedding was an incredible experience.

One design element they loved was a checkered dance floor. So, our Mon Amie Events team took that theme and ran with it. Subtle touches of black and white, accented with gold, were woven through the wedding day. As you’ll see later, it was a big hit!

Here’s a little teaser of their wedding day.

Start Your Engines

Every wedding day starts the same way. Hours before you see the couple say I Do, there is a lot of time spent with their wedding parties, hair and makeup for the ladies, chill time for the guys, and it’s always good to fuel up with breakfast for the long day ahead.

First Looks

After getting dressed, it was time for some first. First looks have become more common for couples, but also loved ones. First up was Zoe’s ‘Gal Pal’ first look with her wedding party. Then Zoe’s first look with her father while Chasten had some time with his mom.

And last but not least was the first look for the bride and groom-to-be! They are so adorable!

Time For I DO!

The ceremony space was dressed in white. A hard surface aisle was dotted with lush white flowers and groupings of floating candles in glass cylinders. The focal point was a spectacular arch overflowing with greenery and white flowers.

With nearly everyone in place, it was almost time for the bride’s entrance. This little one was too adorable not to share. We love the tricycle’s basket exploding with white flowers.

It was finally time for Zoe’s entrance to The Bridal Mach, escorted by her father.  Seeing his bride-to-be brought Chasten to tears.

The two exchanged rings and vows in a very personal ceremony with special music and inspirational readings. They sealed their wedding vows with a kiss. This is sure to be An Everlasting Love!

Guests made their way to cocktail hour for some refreshing beverages and lite bites. The unique escort card display was a huge hit. The mirror across the top contained the wedding hashtag, and the gold tins filled with mints, a play on the bride’s last name, included each guest’s name and table assignment.

The custom cocktail napkins, a nod to a special fur baby, added another touch of whimsy.

A Night To Remember

The Indianapolis wedding Arts Garden reception space was flooded with natural light. The tables were draped in crisp white linens and surrounded by clear acrylic chairs. Black Charger plates were layered with checkered menu cards and napkins in gold rings. Gold flatware and incredible floral arrangements completed the look.

At one end of the space, a sleek, white, four-tiered wedding cake sat on the back and white checked dance floor that inspired the wedding design.

Another First Look

During cocktail hour, the newlyweds made their way into the reception for a little sneak peek with our Mon Amie Events owner Master Wedding Planner, Monica Richard.

Needless to say, Zoe, Chasten were over the moon with what they saw.

Dinner and Dancing

With wedding guests seated, the wedding party and newlyweds made their entrance. The bride and groom enjoyed a glass of champagne and some of their wedding cake before taking their seats for several toasts and a delicious dinner.

Following dinner, guests surrounded the dance floor as Zoe and Chasten took to the dance floor for their first dance. Checkered flags were another fun whimsical touch as the couple danced to Strangers in the Night by Frank Sinatra.

Congratulations, Zoe and Chasten! Our Mon Amie Events team wishes you a lifetime of happiness.
