Courtney and Josh’s Colorful Wedding at Coxhall Gardens
Courtney and Josh are an incredible couple. They are loving, fun, and creative, as are the fantastic people around them.
The wedding was an explosion of color, with vibrant pink tones leading through many wedding details. Josh created an art installation of inlaid wood as a focal point of the wedding reception. The vibrant pattern was the perfect detail to carry throughout the wedding, from the invitations to the table tops and band front.
This spectacular wedding was truly a reflection of the bride and groom.
A Moment With Dad
With everyone dressed and ready, Courtney and her father had a very special first look. It was an emotional moment for them both and very touching.
It’s Josh’s Turn!
As the time to leave for the wedding ceremony drew closer, it was time for Josh and Courtney’s first look. They are so adorable together; we love the laughter and tender moments the two share all day.
Heading To Coxhall Gardens
Courtney, Josh, and their wedding party gathered together for the short ride to Coxhall Gardens for some pre-ceremony photos.
We love that Courtney’s bridal party was invited to express themselves by choosing their wedding attire in the bright pink color palate. The color story is so vibrant that you can’t help but smile.
Amazing What You Can Do In 5 Minutes
With everything in place for the beautiful garden wedding ceremony, guests began the ten-minute journey from the hotel to the gardens.
However, the weather had something else in mind. Despite the clear radar reports and weather forecasts, the skies open up for an unprecedented pop-up shower.
It was all hands on deck. With the help of all of the wedding professionals, the chairs, musicians, programs, and wedding decor, including a touching memorial honoring the bride’s mother, made it inside Coxhall Mansion before the guests arrived.
With This Ring
As everyone gathered inside the mansion, Josh waited with anticipation as Courtney, escorted by her father, made her entrance to ‘Somewhere Only Where We Know.’
The ceremony was filled with beautiful readings and tender moments. The couple exchanged wedding rings and vows, sealing them with a kiss before heading off for time together.
Blue Skies
As the wedding ceremony ended, the rain shower followed. This allowed wedding guests to enjoy cocktail hour in the gardens. Cocktail Hour included a delicious Seafood Bar and passed hors d’oeuvres.
Guests also enjoyed taking photos in front of the spectacular floral wedding structure installed for the outdoor wedding ceremony.
A Tropical Oasis
Palm trees and brightly colored flowers framed Josh’s inlaid wood creation, which was utilized as an escort card wall.
Each guest’s escort card was attached to a copper Moscow Mule Mug. They could use it to enjoy the newlywed’s favorite cocktail and engrave it with their name to take home. This was truly a labor of love for the couple.
Once inside the tent, the open space exploded with color. Gold chairs surrounded an eclectic mix of tables. Josh’s inlay pattern covered some tables while others were draped in beautiful linens in bold, solid colors.
Table tops overflowed with colorful flowers, tropical greenery, candles, gold-toned flatware, vintage-inspired glassware, and charger plates topped with custom menu cards tucked inside a colorful napkin.
At the far end of the room, the bandstand was decorated with a chevron pattern, incredible floral arrangements, and the couple’s two-tiered white wedding cake sitting in front.
The newlywed’s sweetheart table faced the dance floor. Draped in luxurious linen, it was flanked by oversized glass cylinders of flowers and floating candles. A lush, wide rope of flowers cascaded across the table and onto the dance floor.
Blown Away
Courtney and Josh took a few minutes away from their guests for a sneak peek at the reception tent before guests were invited in.
It’s easy to see by their reaction that they were blown away. They loved how both color and pattern inspired by them were woven throughout the reception.
This, along with the gasps from guests as they entered the space, is exactly the response Monica and our Mon Amie Events team live for!
An Evening To Remember
After everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance.
Taking their seats, the evening proceeded with a toast by the Father of the Bride and a blessing by the Father of the Groom.
Dinner was a fabulous multi-course tasting menu showcasing some of the couple’s favorite foods.
Maine Lobster Bisque paired with a Grilled Caesar Salad
Tuscan Salmon with Orzo Farro, and Bruschetta Hollandaise
Dry Aged Beef Tenderloin with Caramelized Leek Butter
with Truffled Yukon Mash, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, and Purple Cauliflower
After dinner, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance to ‘A Few Things,’ their cake cutting, and two beautiful parent dances to open the dance floor for the night.
After an evening of dancing, guests were invited outside for a special surprise. FIREWORKS!
Guests returned to the tent and were treated to a gourmet Ice Cream Sundae Dessert Bar and a Late Night Snack Station with Toasted PB&J, Craft Grilled Cheese, Saratoga Chips, and Parmesan Fries.
The incredible Coxhall Gardens wedding ended with the couple’s last dance to ‘Wagon Wheel.’
Congratulations, Courtney and Josh! We wish you a lifetime of incredible smiles and laughter.
