Lauren and Connor’s Carmel Indiana Wedding: I Only Have Eyes For You!
This Carmel, Indiana wedding was magical, and the incredible couple is too cute for words. When Lauren and Connor look into each other’s eyes, you can easily see how much they are in love.
Their Carmel, Indiana, wedding overflowed with lush, colorful floral creations, adorable paper creations, and personal touches. For our Mon Amie Events team, this has undoubtedly been a year for bold colors.
Gal Pals and Getting Ready
For Lauren and the ladies of her wedding party, the day began with breakfast, fun photos, hair and makeup on-site, and lots of wedding detail photos.
It’s The Guys Turn
Meanwhile, Connor and the guys were chilling, having breakfast, and getting ready. A few group photos, and they were off to the church.
Get Me To The Church On Time
With Lauren dressed and ready, it was time for a first look with her father. She followed up with a few photos with her wedding party. Then, she got into a vintage car to ride to the church with her father.
With This Ring
With everyone in place at the church, Lauren, escorted by her father, made her entrance to Pachelbel’s Canon in D.
Conor was without words as he watched his bride-to-be make her way down the aisle.
The Nuptial Mass was beautiful and full of reading by family members and close friends. With the giving and receiving of rings and sharing the eucharist, the couple was presented as husband and wife.
A Little Time Together
Following the wedding ceremony and a few family photos in the church, the newlyweds were able to spend a little time together for some amazing wedding portraits.
The Eyes Have It
Inside The Palladium’s South Wing, wedding guests enjoyed cocktail hour. A stunning floral print wall was imprinted with “I Only Have Eyes For You.” It held dozens of pairs of sunglasses with each guest’s escort card attached. A little nod to Lauren’s profession as an ophthalmologist.
Delicious hors d’oeuvres were printed with personalized cocktail napkins, continuing the theme of “I Only Have Eyes For You.”
The newlywed’s monogrammed four-tier white and gold wedding cake, decorated with fresh flowers, was on display in the cocktail area. This allowed the couple, who chose to attend their cocktail hour, the chance to cut their wedding cake before guests made their way into dinner.
Love Is In Bloom
The Concert Hall exploded in color and texture with tables set with exquisite linens and lush floral creations. Place settings were layered with gold beaded glass charger plates, vintage-inspired floral china, handled napkins, and custom menu cards.
Collections of candles, crystal stemware, and unique floral centerpieces added interest to each tablescape.
We love the view across the ballroom from the couple’s sweetheart table. Set off to one side, they could see everyone enjoying their evening.
Lauren and Connor ducked in for a sneak peek during cocktail hour and then spun around the dance floor to practice their first dance.
For them, living out of town and planning long distance, it was a huge surprise. They had actually never been to the Palladium; they trusted their creative team, and all of the planning was done via Zoom and emails during Lauren’s residency.
Topping off everything was incredible video mapping on the walls. The creation included animated butterflies and blooming tulips and was an oversized recreation of the artwork from the wedding invitation suite. Lauren’s college sorority sister created this suite.
Monica loved the artwork so much that she recreated it for video mapping and custom-made linens for the celebration. It’s spectacular!
Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You
Following introductions, the newlyweds relaxed and enjoyed toasts by the bride’s father, maid of honor, and best men. After the blessing, everyone enjoyed a spectacular multi-course dinner with wine service.
It was time for the bride and groom to take to the dance floor for their first dance to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You.” This was followed by some very special family and dances, which then opened the dance floor for the evening.
Guests packed the dance floor most of the night, stopping long enough for group photos, delicious desserts, and late-night snacks. No one could take their eyes off of the happy couple.
Congratulations, Lauren and Connor! We wish you many years of looking into each other’s eyes.
