Kyra’s Bat Mitzvah
Working with Kyra and her family for her Bat Mitzvah was an absolute pleasure for our Mon Amie Events team. Much like many recent events, the planning was filled with changes and restrictions. But this young lady handled it well.
Because of restrictions, services at the synagogue allowed for a minimal number of guests and were shared online.
The intimate celebration that followed took full advantage of a venue with multiple spaces and beautiful waterfront outdoor spaces.
Kyra is an incredibly talented dancer; whose favorite color happens to be pink. Our event design focused on highlighting her love of dance. Our team utilized Kyra’s dance costumes and ballet slippers.
Guests were greeted by a fantastic entry design that combined brilliant hot pink décor, ballet slippers, and escort cards. Additionally, guests were offered social distancing wrist bands and colorful tie-dyed masks.
The event spaces were designed with Kyra’s favorite color, hot pink. We created the room with a textured hot pink crush linen balanced against white linens with pink geometrics. Tablescapes incorporated pink and white floral centerpieces and infused silver metallics, modern glass, and clear acrylic details that added a slight shimmer.
Kyra’s three-tiered white and pink cake included sweet personal touches like an incredible sugar replica of a beloved stuffed animal.
From swags of pink fabric suspended from the ceiling to ballet barres with floral garlands and LED dance floor in the children’s space. We created an event that left Kyra and her family speechless. And, the giant custom “KYRA” lettering, a surprise from our Mon Amie Events team, blew them away.
Kyra and all of her friends were wowed by the fantastic talents of much sought-after DJ Gabby Love, who kept the party rocking.
Guests danced the night away with fuzzy pink socks, LED glow sticks, and custom pink and white sweatshirts. The event was filled with incredible food, great music, and lots of love.
Congratulations, Kyra. We know this will be a day that you and your family remember for years to come.
